Good News from Thornhill Gardens

Steven Reed, a Support Worker based at Thornhill Gardens has been commended for his swift and thoughtful actions to help a member of the public in a difficult situation.

Support worker, Steven Reed who is based at Thornhill Gardens, has been commended by a member of the public for his actions, as Steven stopped to assist the gentleman who was experiencing a diabetic episode.

Steven was supporting a customer in B&M shop and had noticed the man appeared to be unwell, he was sweating and looked dazed. Steven asked if he was alright and the man said he thought his blood levels were low and was diabetic. Steven sought appropriate help and the man recovered, without Stevens quick intervention the man’s health could have further deteriorated.

After this event, the gentleman contacted Thornhill to express his sincere thanks, he said he was so thankful that Steven had taken the time to stop and ask if he needed any help as others had looked and walked on.
